A Zrams is the sovereign head of state in an Olktatth realm. They act in a constitutional-absolutist sense, where they act still as the ultimate and absolute power in a realm, but also have a council, similarly named the Zroms, which acts in an advisory role to the Head of State. Though the term Zrams could be translated into a word such as 'King' or 'Monarch', the cultural connotations of Zrams allow for it to be used very effectively in the Olktokth. It is a hereditary-elective title, passed down to the son of the previous Zrams who is chosen in a special session of the Zroms council.
